By downloading or using any SafeAfter app — SafeAfter: Digital Vault or SafeAfter: Dead Man's Switch — you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you don't agree, please don't use the apps. Last updated: April 2, 2026

SafeAfter is a suite of two apps developed by Marcin Czepiel: • SafeAfter: Digital Vault — an offline encrypted vault for passwords, crypto wallets, notes and photos, with family access via security questions. • SafeAfter: Dead Man's Switch — an automated message delivery system that sends your messages to chosen contacts when you stop checking in. You may use SafeAfter apps for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may NOT: • Reverse engineer or modify the apps • Use them for illegal purposes • Sell or transfer your license

You are responsible for: • Keeping your device and account secure • Creating regular backups (Digital Vault) • Ensuring your contacts' email addresses are correct (Dead Man's Switch) • Maintaining an active check-in schedule (Dead Man's Switch) — we are not liable for accidental delivery due to missed check-ins • Using the apps lawfully

See our Privacy Policy for full details. Key points: • Digital Vault: 100% offline, no internet required, no data collected • Dead Man's Switch: minimal data collected to enable message delivery • No advertising, no data selling

SafeAfter and all related content are owned by Marcin Czepiel. You retain full rights to the data you store in both apps.

Both apps are provided "AS IS" without warranties. We are NOT liable for: • Lost passwords, data, or access (Digital Vault) • Failed or delayed message delivery (Dead Man's Switch) — e.g. due to incorrect email addresses, spam filters, or service outages • Unauthorized access to your device • Any indirect or consequential damages from using the apps IMPORTANT (Digital Vault): Always maintain encrypted backups. Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the app. IMPORTANT (Dead Man's Switch): Always verify your contacts' email addresses are correct. We cannot guarantee delivery if the email address is invalid.

SafeAfter: Digital Vault • Free tier: 5 passwords, 1 crypto wallet, unlimited notes, 3 photos • Premium: Unlimited storage across all categories — one-time payment of $9.99 (or local equivalent). No subscription, ever. SafeAfter: Dead Man's Switch • Free tier: 1 contact switch, weekly check-ins • Premium: Unlimited contacts, daily & bi-weekly check-ins, grace period — affordable annual subscription All payments are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. Refund policies are subject to their respective terms.

We may update the apps or these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

You can stop using either app at any time. Digital Vault: Use "Reset data" in settings before uninstalling to fully delete all data (uninstalling alone may leave keychain data on iOS). Dead Man's Switch: Delete your account from within the app to remove all data from our servers.

Neither app is intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
